Selecting a transcription language

Voskle Live Transcribe supports transcribing in various languages. Changing the transcription language doesn't change the language of the user interface---it only changes which language can get recognized and transcribed. Only one language may be active at any given time.

To select a transcription language, click on the "select language" dropdown button and pick the language you want from the menu.

Once you click on that language, the app will check whether the model already got downloaded. If it got downloaded already, the app will get ready to transcribe. Otherwise, it will prompt you to download the model. Once you confirmed that, the model will get downloaded and a progress indicator will let you know how far along the download is. If the download was successful, a dialog appears that confirms the success; error dialogs may appear otherwise, for instance if connecting to the internet failed.
